We got our letter from the IRS that has approved our status as a 501(c)3 Public Charity. We can now accept donations and they will be considered Tax Deductible.
We also received our letter from the State of Texas giving us Tax Free Status, meaning we don’t pay Sales Tax and we also don’t have to charge Sales Tax. At least at the state level.
This is all great news and was a major major step toward getting moving.
Now we are working to get all the financials establish: a.k.a. Bank Account and Paypal account, so we have somewhere to put donations and from which to give out grants.
